WHY AM I HERE?

INTRODUCTION:

"When the purpose is unknown, the abuse is inevitable."

I'm so excited to have you here. Because, I know when you finish reading this piece of information, you will be addicted to things that transcends time.

It's obvious that a lot of persons have not been able to figure out their purposes on earth. In other words, they don't know why God created them. Many are aware that there must be a unique reason God created them but how to find it becomes a problem. Some are not even aware that anything like that exist, therefore, they don't  plan walking in it.  Knowing your purpose on earth is very crucial especially for those who want to impact their generation with the great potentials that God has invested in their lives.

GOD'S ORIGINAL PLAN FOR MANKIND

Our recent street interview has proved to us that people have different opinion or understanding when it comes to the issue of divine Purpose. Now we are going to dick into the word of God to find out the right answer(s) to this question. But before then, let me say this. Personally, I don't believe that You must necessarily need to look or search for your purpose on earth before you can find it, since your purpose can call out to you if your lifestyle permit such or align with the will of God. In other words, your way of life has the capacity to limit or enhance the divine purpose upon your life.

generally speaking, God has a vision or mandate concerning humanity. Or you can call it  a master plan which I'm going to summarise under this section. Because you can't fix into a vision that you have no idea about.

BEING LIKE GOD

Gen.1.26-28 is a very popular scripture and it says,

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (KJV)

I like the way New living Translation put it. Verse 26 says,

Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life--the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals."(NLT)

God was speaking and made a statement " to be like ourselves " in other words, we are expected to be like God. Yes it is true that our spirit is the one that caries the image of God but it is important that your body is under the influence of the spirit of God that is duelling inside of you. The bible says in 1 Cor.9.27

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

 Don't ever deceive yourself that you can resemble God in your spirit without any physical evidence. Because it's your reasonable service
"that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God"

Rom.12.1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Therefore you must deliberately do things the way God would and allow it to be your mindset. Use the word of God as a mirror to always screen yourself, and you will gradually becoming more like Him.

SALVATION OF YOUR SOUL

Jesus is longing to see you coming to Him

John.3.16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1Tim.2.3 - For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

1Tim.2.4 - Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2Pet.3.9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I pilled up those scriptures just to prove to you that your salvation is part of God's plan for your life. And this can never be over emphasized since it happen to be the primary step in your journey to your purpose in life.

DIVINE REST

Please I want you to relax your mind and read this scriptures. Yes, it's a very long scripture. But I found it necessary and i believe it will change the perspective of your life.

Heb.4.1 - God's promise of entering his place of rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to get there.
Heb.4.2 - For this Good News--that God has prepared a place of rest--has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn't believe what God told them.
Heb.4.3 - For only we who believe can enter his place of rest. As for those who didn't believe, God said, "In my anger I made a vow: 'They will never enter my place of rest,'" even though his place of rest has been ready since he made the world.
Heb.4.4 - We know it is ready because the Scriptures mention the seventh day, saying, "On the seventh day God rested from all his work."
Heb.4.5 - And again in the passage above he says, "They shall never enter my rest."
Heb.4.6 - So God's rest is there for people to enter. But those who formerly heard the Good News failed to enter because they disobeyed God.
Heb.4.7 - So God set another time for entering his place of rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David a long time later in the words already quoted: "Today you must listen to his voice. Don't harden your hearts against him."
Heb.4.8 - This new place of rest was not the land of Canaan, where Joshua led them. If it had been, God would not have spoken later about another day of rest.
Heb.4.9 - So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.
Heb.4.10 - For all who enter into God's rest will find rest from their labors, just as God rested after creating the world.
Heb.4.11 - Let us do our best to enter that place of rest. For anyone who disobeys God, as the people of Israel did, will fall. (NLT)

What is your plan to enter into the rest that God has prepared for you?

Now that you've peeped the manual of life. The next thing is for you to fix yourself into the vision. Having idea of God's purpose for humanity is not enough, especially if you don't have a clear understanding of your part to play in the fulfilment of God's agenda.  Below are the necessary guide lines to follow if you want to know your purpose on earth.

(1). YOU MUST KNOW YOUR CREATOR.

It will remain impossible to find the purpose of life if you can't find the owner of life. If You don't know your Creator, you can't know why He created you. The book of Genesis has proved to us that God is the Creator of heaven and earth. If you are one of those who does not believe in God or still doubting because of what they've taught you or your religious background. I want you to take a look at yourself, find a conducive  and quiet environment, free from any form distraction, and ask yourself certain questions, and try as much as possible to be sincere with yourself to find a concrete answers since they are going to be the bases of your next decision. Ask yourself this questions.

"What I'm believing on  now, does it really worth it or is there any superior power? What are the advantages and disadvantages if I decide to stop believing in it?"

Please at this time you need to free yourself from any traditional  or family believe, and try to  be a bit personal here. You always wake up every morning and you are still alive today. If you think it's because you've been taking care of yourself by eating good food, taking medication etc. I want to let you know that many people that are in the grave right now deed more than that. If you feel it's natural to wake up when day brake. I believe you are away that not all that slept last night were able to wake up. If you think it's your alarm clock that wake you up every morning, take that same alarm clock to the mortuary, let see if it can wake up those corps. Therefore, the mystery of morning miracle alone that God perform in your life every morning is enough to convince you that, in deed, God is your Creator.

Isa.43.7 says; All who claim me as their God will come, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them."

(2). YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

Knowing your Creator is important. But that alone can't solve the problem. Now that you know your Creator, you must also allow Him to be the Lord of your life, take ownership of your life, live through you. It means that you no longer have your own ambition. You don't live for yourself any more.

John.3.3 - Jesus replied, "I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God."

Now that you know your Creator and He is the Lord of your life, God has placed certain demands on your life.

i. Sensitivity

You are now a child of God. God will always communicate with you in different ways. Like your Bible, your pastor, your conscience etc. So you must learn to be sensitive

Ezek.11.19 - And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God],

ii. Obedient to God's word

1Pet.1.14 - As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Now that God has delivered you from the spirit of ignorance, you must obey every word of God that comes to you whether it's convenient or not.

iii. Glorify Him always

When the devil discover that you are now in the kingdom of God, he will do every thing possible to bring sorrow upon you. Therefore, you must makeup your mind to honour, glorify and praise Him always no matter the circumstances.

Isa.43.21 - I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.(NLT)

CONCLUSION

Before I conclude let me say this; you must know the differences between your career or job and your purpose. etc. Pastors are not the only people that are called by God. And the fact that God is calling you does not necessarily means you must be a pastor. This has actually brought a lot of catastrophe in the body of Christ. In the sense that,  when people  senses the call of God upon their lives, the next thing is to arrogantly raise up a church even when it's not inline with the mind of God. Often time, this does not produce the desired result. Therefore, they are forced to adhere to any other power that can produce insubstantial results only to entice and gain trust from the congregation. I'm saying all these to say that God can call you to any field. Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher and so on.

How would you know that what you are doing is your purpose on earth?

(a). Passion: 

I mean strong and powerful emotion toward what you do. Please be sure that your passion is not driven by any mondaine things like money, fame, pride etc. It must be what you can continue doing happily even when there is no physical reward.

(b). Must be a solution;

the world is full of so many problems and many people are looking for answers and solutions. Therefore, even though your passion is not canal, but yet, can not positively answers or solve problem, that means you are just catching fun.

Please note that the two points are together. One can't do without the other. Also note that it's not all passions and solutions that glorifies God. 

Let me conclude with this scripture; Eccl.12.13

Here is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is the duty of every person.
